Hi, I've just received my coursework for Teaching Assistant Level 3 and am going to start January 1st (new year new start). Does anyone fancy buddying up to support each other? It's been along time since I studied and would be good to share and discuss ideas with another.

Glad I'm not the only one. This is when I wish I was in an actual college. I found unit 4 very long really hope it gets signed off. Will be starting 5 now. Be good to keep in touch. Katie. X

Got assignment 7 back last night :) started assignment 8 this morning. I had a placement interview on Monday. I start placement next Tuesday, full days for 3 weeks then switching to Thursday mornings, because my shifts at work are changing. Can't wait to get stuck in, to be honest!

Hi Mel, I don't think there's any definite length, just make sure you are happy with your answer and feel you have covered all points.

If I can be of any help, my email is annorasims@gmail.com

That goes for the rest of the group too!

Hi, to those that have completed unit 6, what did you use for the risk assessment in question 2a

Hi Sarah. I organised a physical game in the outdoor quad area for about 8 children. Risk Assessment included Clearing floor of objects, Informing children of open gate,  door to corridor which other children use to access quad area, inspecting footwear.
Could you use an activity that involved scissors? Or water based activity in EYFS or KS1? Or any outdoor activity?
hope that helps.

I was doing so well up to assignment 4, got to 5 and it went down hill. I really struggled with it, currently waiting for it to be marked but I'm not holding out much hope that I wont need to redo some of it. Read through 6 and I thought it looked ok, but now I'm actually working on it I'm staring to panic again. I've done question 1a and 1c. I have a list of questions for my H&S person at my placement, for 1b and 1d. But I only have this week and next week at my placement before Easter so I need to get my head round what I need, before then as it is due the last Friday of the hols

Hello. i've just started my unit 2 but Im really confused with the first question as its split into 3 parts but they're sort of asking the same questions. Any advice how to separate the answers?
