Can anyone help me out with the second assignment, I'm really struggling with ' Explain why the difference between sequential and rate is important in no less than 100 words.'

Sequential is the order in which young children reach certain points, called milestones, for exampling learning to talk and walk. The rate is at what age they reach the milestone, for example, 6 months, 12 months. The difference is important because the rate of development, each child follows a pattern of development, the sequence in which they reach milestones, this can differ for all children, but for children can have personal and external factors which can affect their rate of development.

I just don't have anything else to add, has anyone got any advice?
