I would highly recommend this course, as everything is to the poing. Nothing useless for the future. Helping for further work and study.
I am on assignment 5, Toni. It requires a lot of studying and I've got other books to read, as well. No, it's not forensic, but a great one for everyone indulged with Psychology. As I checked, Stonebridge have other courses, really many and amazing ones! Oh, for your convenience, you can check Student's lounge with some guidance. Let me know about your course and if everything is Ok! I might attend it, as well, but not now.
I started this couple months back, only on assignment due to other study and work commitments but not i have the time to focus on this. I feel its really simple i am not sure if this is due to me previously studying some applied psychology or due to it being the beginning of the course but i hope it picks up a bit to get my use from it. Anyone currently doing it?
Iv just completed the assignment on biological approach that was all new for me and abit tricky because the course reading is quite short and basic alot of background reading was needed for me personally to understand it more. Do you mean if the qualification is recognised? I dont think it would be im doing this to prepare me for starting my Psychology degree after summer but mostly to make sure i wanna study psychology that in depth lol. How you getting on with assignments?
I don't think its for fun, I never said that. Myself personally has chosen this course to develop my psychology because i'm going in at year 2 of a psychology degree. Like i said previously i have done psychology before but its been specific to education therefore more theorist and research based. I am sure their will be assignments that take me longer like the 2nd one did but iv just also submitted assignment 3 which didn't take me long due to its being very education and behaviour based. I'm sure to some extent this will be recognized but most people working in that field have the degree maybe you should look into if this allows you to transfer credits onto a degree, there are plenty of universities who offer distance learning degrees in Psychologies that are legit. I know that the organisations mentioned don't apply to Scotland. For me, it was always to help myself grow before my degree that all i'm not saying its easy and for anyone doing this with no Psychology background id imagine it to be quite difficult i'm only finding it easier due to years of studying learning and behavior theorists, psychology and social science. So far a lot has been familiar but it has a different perspective on it which is really useful. It would be very beneficial to students if they offered a couple of eBooks or textbooks to access for it, it helps to read the course content and then get another perspective on it. A lot of the Psychology webpages are blogs and not exactly correct. So far i am enjoying it though its giving me exactly what i wanted from it development and more knowledge to have. Now on assignment 4 :) hoping to be finished before end of summer.
I agree, I didn't say that YOU said so (the fun thing). Assignments get more and more difficult as you proceed, which is good, because you learn. I have a background on Psychology and especially on Psychoanalysis which is my favourite. I have checked about the degrees, also have attended MOOCs which are really educative, even if many don't think so. I live in Greece and unfortunately, things here are more difficult, meaning that I need International accreditation. I think it would be a solution for other countries, as well. That's what I am searching for, as bureaucracy and money needed for recognition require many efforts... Nowhere, even here, is there any clear answer about that. By the way, there is no deadline for our assignments. Wish you Good Luck and Success!
