I started The CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator) a few months ago and have since had problems after finding out I was pregnant and now cannot continue working in a childcare profession as i have been instructed to rest and if I need to work to do job which is not so strenuous and on my feet all day. I wrote to the college and to the cancellations and transfers team explaining what my doctors and midwife had said and asking if there was some way I can transfer to a course which doesn't rely on the work experience side as I now cannot do it due to health reasons and problems I am having with this pregnancy, I have had a lot of bleeding and have been in hospital for a while because the doctors wanted to make sure I wasn't having a miscarriage. I thought as I had taken out a 24+ student loan for this course they may be some way to move to another course as I have the loan out now. Today I received a letter from Stonebridge colleges saying they are not willing to help me and that I am reminded that not matter what I will have to pay the loan back even if I cannot complete all of The CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator) as I can do the coursework no problem but without the classroom or childcare experience to go alongside it I feel I will fail. I'm so stressed and don't know what to do, I was working in a nursery and then with a childminder but it's become to the point I can't even do the weekly shopping my health is really bad at the moment. I'm 12 weeks pregnant so I'm hoping that health wise things will improve but I really am so worried now that I have no help whatsoever from the college, they are not interested in helping me in any way and I feel so lost any advice would be greatly received, I just can't believe a college like this is unwilling to co cooperate or even help when it's my health that's caused this decision to have to be made not me just deciding to change cause I feel like it !! All I got was a letter back which was unhelpful, told me tough basically and that they won't help at all !!

If you can't sort the money problem try finishing the course anyway. I suppose it's something  you really wanted to do; the experience you can get later. If after all you don't want to continue and solve the money situation, then done and dusted. Worrying about it won't really help if you know what I mean. Your health and your baby's health is far more important than any money problems. Consider that you have your family support (I am guessing) and that you have a roof and food to eat, and health care is covered. You have everything you need. You are so privileged that you belong to the top wealthiest persons on the planet (put into perspective). Be content, be happy and think about your family, not about money. The worrying the the stress you be transmitted to your baby. Instead generate love and compassion, love and harmony. Consider all possible situations with reason, be analytical. positive, don't let this loan bring you down. Good luck xx
