Hi Wafaa, There were certain units on my course that didn't at first make sense, no matter how much I tried to re read the questions, I found myself becoming more frustrated and mentally blocked the more I was 'trying' to look for answers. After taking a break away for a short while, I returned feeling more clear and often found I saw something I didn't see before or began to understand something much better, it just clicked as I became a little more clear minded. Relaxing into preparation, taking time to absorb every word of the question and 'giving myself permission' to be my own critique, constructively reflecting, making those small changes until I felt I was happy with what I had wrote helped me greatly. I hope this may help a little. Learning is always a new challenge, but is certainly worth it and the feeling you get knowing what 'you will' be achieving what you want.

I found at any moment when struggling about how to express myself with what I had in my head and how I felt, to put into words, I would put my file to one side and close my eyes, relaxing back, taking a deep breath and allowing what I was just reading about to flow around in my mind.

'Giving yourself permission' to do this lets you feel its OK to relax more and just let your mind play with those words. For me at some point thoughts connected to words and words connected to feelings, I became the observer to all these senses and feelings , in turn began to feel and see pictures of how I wanted to express myself. After a while something tells me I had got what I needed, opening my eyes, giving them a quick rub I  felt more refreshed and felt a more clearer channel of thoughts come to mind, expressing them more easily.

Putting thoughts and feelings into words now seemed more easier to express and associate skills with. So my thoughts here Kerri would be consider to 'take a break', give yourself permission to chill for a while, don't rush it, close your eyes, and 'feel' the words and thoughts, let your mind play with what you at first seems to struggle with.

After all I believe the counselling route expects an element of self exploration and discovery, which can be a difficult task, because 'How often do we really stop to think how we 'feel', so taking time to relax and explore your thoughts and feelings seems an ideal pastime. You might be surprised at the outcome ;-)
