NCFE STLiS course

Does anyone know how important the total learning time record is for grading/completion of the course? The first unit I worked solely on a word document then cut and pasted my answers into the online answer area as I am always paranoid about loosing work and because my notebook computer has a small screen area so it's far easier to work in Word. However, I then found the time record and this obviously wasn't a true reflection of the amount of time I had spent on the unit. So for unit 2 I have completed it online so my hours are reflected and typically today my paranoia was realised. After completing 2 hours work, I pressed a button by mistake and lost the whole 2 hours work!!! Yes, I know i should keep pressing save but it's heartbreaking to loose all that work and I think I would rather revert to the trusty Word which I can set to autosave, but I am concerned how the learning time measured may affect my outcome of the course!!
