Hi all, I have passed all units until this one. have a few questions that have been referred back to me. Really struggling with two of them. Questions 2 D and 3 D. Wondered if there was anyone out there doing this course and could give me a few tips...I've tried finding things on the internet but keeps coming up with silky steps website. Any help would be greatly appreciated xx

Hi Donna,
For Q4 2d, I talked about Children's Social Care, Health Visitors, Educational Services, Legal Services and Charities. I mentioned how each area has a duty of care towards the child, and they should co-ordinate with each other to ensure information is shared. So, health workers may notice bruising or unexplained injuries; teachers and school staff can notice changes in eating habits, behaviour or appearance; legal services could be the police or probation officers or CAIU; etc.
For 3d, this is all about safeguarding children but recognising the need to safeguard yourself against allegations. For example, making sure another adult is with you if you need to change a child; don't be left alone in a closed room with a child; ensure risk assessments are completed; food allergies or medicine administration should be clear. Basically, not putting yourself in a vulnerable position but still ensuring child safety is maintained.
I found Silky Steps really helpful for ideas or starting points.
Good luck!

Thank you both so much for your help. I have been using silky steps it tutor has told me to be careful with it. I've just had a mental block and can't think how to write it all down lol
Do you know if they are strict on the word count?? As one of the questions I got back was to check word count...was to be done in 50 words and I'd used 54.

Silky steps is a good website but you do have to be careful as it is so easy to have your work refered back. My tutor is not strict on word count but then again i do write more words then is needed. Hope this helps
