Hi ShoaibM,great to meet you.

I am currently studying assignment 4 but am waiting for my tutor to mark assignment 3 so that I can go on to answer the next set of questions.

So far the course materials have been at time slightly confusing with the wording but overall I am really enjoying it.

Hi all, I have just returned from a long study break and is familiarizing my self with the Coaching laugauage again. I find my self having to do a lot of cross referencing. As any one taken up work experience, visited workshops to support their Life Coach course or is a member of the Association of Coaching ?

I'm doing the CBT course which is heavily coaching oriented - I'm really enjoying it and am finding that I would now like to find out more about other therapies that work well alongside CBT especially mindfulness, how are you finding the mindfulness parts of the course, Chris?

Hello there,
I have just started doing my aromatherapy course so far enjoying it. Would like to continue to do more in holistic therapies and also counselling.

I would be interested to know how anyone gained any experience as my course doesn't include any clinical side of things. Although I do have know how to massage as i attended a workshop last year.
would there be anyone interested in massage exchange?

Hi, I am currently studying in the Advanced Life Skills diploma course and this doesn't include any clinical or live training. I am therefore going to look for voluntary opportunities to get the experience.

Have you asked the college about this type of training?

I had been thinking of doing what you're doing but finally fell for my love of herbs and natural healing.

Hi Brian you're brave taking on Anger Management, I have just started with Clinical Herbalism and hoping to become a Master Herbalist with Nutrition and Naturopathy. Then set up my own business. Have coached others for years and well read in Life coaching.

Sorry to have taken so long to come back to you. Yes, we all put a lot of pressure on ourselves , but it is worth it in the long run. I average an assignment a week. But this is moving too fast as I know for myself that I am not getting into the habit of getting into using the terminology and 'herbal speak'.

By the endd of this I may need to come to you for some anger management counselling! Joking, of course. I will be moving in the early part of next year so am packing up and sorting out our flat and will have to take time off my studies.

Anyone else doing Clinical Herbalist and going on to Master herbalist?

Take your time and keep reading. It will become easier once you start practicing. Never ever feel you have to come up with answers instantaneously. Use the ' I would like to consult with a colleague about something that I think may help you tremendously' excuse for extra time. I did Substance Abuse, Aids Counselling and Anger Management as part of my BTh some years ago and on several occasions needed to use the 'colleague connection' as we used to call it. Now I just know I have to dive into my books and read as much as possible and it will all pan out well.
