I'm really struggling with this course! I'm on assignment 3 but if there's ever been a more difficult way of explaining things they've found it in this course! I need to have it completed by august as a condition of my university acceptance. CAN ANYONE PLEASE PLEASE HELP??

hi I am a recovering addict and have just started this course,you are right about they have made it difficult in the way they phrase the questions  I am totally stuck on last question of assignment 1,i cant see how drug laws have anything to do with the question about working with people that are addicted as I cant find a direct quote from rob gilbert who they mention in the question,could anyone please explain to me in plain English what it is they are looking for,dont want the answer just a idea.if anyone needs any kind of insight into an addicts mind I am here if would like to ask anything,thanks guys hope you are all doing well on whatever part you are on

I'm doing the adolesent counselling at the mo and teaching once I've finished one ill sign for this how long did it take you to finish?

I took me 8 weeks to complete this course, but I should add that I am a quick study an example would be CBT level 5, i am due to complete this within 12 weeks x

I have done CBT / anger management professional coach and consultancy / drug, solvent and alcohol counselling / advanced psychotherapy and anger management.
the best course was the anger management coach & consultancy :o)

Well done in getting Number one done Sharon :o)

books that I liked and found useful were, addictive thinking by Abraham Twerski, alcoholics anonymous big book 4 and treatment approaches for alcohol and drug dependences; an introductory guide by nick heather.

Assignment 3 help. I'm really struggling with this course. I can't seem to understand the way things are written. I'm not stupid by any stretch of the imagination but the way this course has been worded is very complicated! I need help with assignment 3 (question 5 - finish). Please help :-0

not that this is the answer but, A counsellor that is eclectic draws on various aspects from a number of counselling models in order to formulate a suitable programme for a given client.
