Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Should I do it?

Hi there, I've been working for a couple of years in the admin of an Independent Prep school, but just before Christmas I was offered the opportunity to become a TA within the same school. I've been loving it so far (working mainly with Years 5 & 6) and I'm now wondering about qualifications. Having been a mum for 21 years and not really attempting any type of formal study since leaving school, I am a little nervous about starting anything too ambitious, so would Level 3 be a good starting point? Any advice would be very gratefully received. Thanks

Why not? go for it I say! I started in October 2014 and I left school 20 years ago, I am doing the Specialist teaching and learning in schools level 3 diploma, I have found it quite intense but also quite enjoyable. I have 3 kids and work in school as a TA full time. Finding the time to do the assignments is probably the worst thing, tends to take up a fair few evenings!
