Right, I just started a photojournalist diploma course, this is just to express.  i am not currently in the UK, I'm doing this course from a further distance, (Mauritius), i work here and I work hard to save the money I get.  I paid up to 400 GBP for this course, and i must say, it's been 2 weeks, and i'm honestly struggling with the whole thing, my main is issue is the material sent.  It's not very formal, hard to read and understand and seem out-dated.  Tutors are useless, help is hard to get, and really pointless and helpless replies from them.  I hoped for better.  This are harder for me being long distance as the course demands for UK based research, no matter I go ahead and pay what i have to, to get what i need.  Im just really disappointing.  That's from me anyway, so far.  I'd like to hear what other people have to say about the materials you received.

I feel the same about this company, if you paid by credit card, try to get your money refunded. Also write to the appropriate body to complain. Good luck

I would like to understand why, when told I would have a tutor to help me on this course. I do not. I rang to talk to her as soon as I received the materials for my course. She was unavailable to speak to. A very condescending male on the other end just kept saying he didn't understand and in no way tried to help.
I rang a few days later to ask for my tutors email address, email kept coming back to me.
I want to learn at a high level about Aromatherapy, which I thought level 4 would mean. The material given in the first assignment does not reflect this. If you really want to help, please give me a tutor to have personal contact with, as advertised. I do not want to talk to just any one. It was made clear I would have someone to help me at every step, how can this be done when you have to telephone and talk to someone different every time.

Lynn, what I have seen is that they reply like an automated machine... and the same email each time. Try to call them again or email them through their form online: https://www.stonebridge.uk.com/contact-us, though I still wait a reply for the information I've sent them.

Dear Sanveg,
I can understand your disappointment if you were waiting for something else. I think it is in our hands to keep it updated. We are supposed to start from the beginning. Though, each one has got the choice to stop or to go on. On the other hand, I have checked that tutors never reply at all, except if they receive an assignment and never understand what we say. For example, if you say you will be late for the assignment for a week because of other duties, they think you have a break and sent you the same message again and again. In addition, I think that we all need dates we have to take the tests or if there are no deadlines, how long the final test will be available, as well. Time is limited, especially nowadays.
Furthermore, real tutors and not supporters of Stonebridge have to reply with details and inform us which is the accreditation we have got. E.g. I had to communicate with Institutions to learn if I can be accredited and along with other studies, as well!
