Hi, Anyone enrolled on the HLTA course? Enrolled today (6/7/15) and will hopefully receive course material by the end of the week. Any advice on how to approach the assignments would be greatly appreciated

Hi Caroline.  Good luck with your course!  I have just submitted my 6th assignment - I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.  I think the main thing to do is to read through your course notes thoroughly and highlight any areas of particular interest or that require further research.  Don't be afraid to search for information on Google - there is loads available to you but it does require sifting through.  Are you doing it on your spare time?  Regards, Liz.

Thank you for replying to my email. I am studying this course in my spare time with the hope that it will prove useful in the future when I attempt to achieve the HTA status.
I have received the first instalment of the course and have read the instructions that accompanied the material. However, I am struggling to understand how to go about setting out the work. Do I simply answer the questions briefly or write them as an essay? Should I write academically, using quotes or not? Its confusing :/

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
