Hi there, I am new to Stonebridge and I have recently started this course and am now beginning my fourth assignment. I just wondered if there was anybody else doing the course and how are they getting on?
I am really enjoying it and need to get into doing further research.

Well done you on nearly completing it.
I'm stuck on Assignment 14 Q4. Not sure if it is asking your personal thoughts on the guiding force or something else. I can't find anything on it in the notes.
Be really grateful if you have any advice.
Thanks

Hi all. I have just started this course. How are you all going to use your course once completed? I'm not sure what to do after where Togo next. I'm a stay at home mum trying to make a career in the future for myself x

Hi Kirstie. Have you finished this course now? I don't know weather you have done any other activity along side the course but you perhaps looking into some volunteer hours working with kids somewhere might be a good next step in building your career. A couple of hours a week, something which is manageable around mum duties.  If you are thinking about counselling as a career you probably will need hands on face to face training - depending on how far you want to go, you may need to work towards BACP or UKCP accreditation (or do a course which is accredited by one of those Bodies). I am a BACP qualified counsellor - I am working for a children's charity which is funding me on this course so that I can work with children under 14 years of age.

Hi everyone, Gillian, I have just started this course as well, assignment 4 just resubmitted as I didn't put enough detail in questions 5 and 6. I merely listed the elements of the answer. I have added some background, i.e why and how come so as to let the tutor know I understand. I'm doing some extra reading as I go along (on google about anything which I don't understand or have never heard of!)
