Hi, I'd be interested in connecting with anyone on the Mindfulness & Life Coaching course. I'd be interested in a practical workshops so any help with that would also be great. I have read about a conference in Chester next March 2012 so if anyone would like to connect I'm on Stonebridge's facebook page or on here. Thanks.

I'm really interested in Mindfulness and wish I'd signed up to the Mindfulness based CBT course instead of the regular CBT - how are you finding it? It may be something I pick up at a later date once I've completed my current course :o)

I hope they up-date it first, it needs re-writing in a lot of places

Hi Bev,

What parts need re-writing? Is is because some of the NOS are outdated? That's the same on the CBT course, although the course materials do state that we should keep abreast of any changes - It would be good if Stonebridge would issue an update on the courses to keep us up-to-date. Any plans for this Stonebridge?

I have liisted my requests in an email to them, but basicly it is that the subject is not dealt with in a way that breeds the level of joy that can come from a genuine love of the subject. I am very keen on mindfulness ways of observing and not needing to change the reaction which is more about acceptance stratergy, REBT is good for the unconditional self acceptance, I have written loads on it as it is so interesting, if thre was a greater depth in the paper, it would go a long way, I think the NOS are very informative and not a problem, just the teacher seems to have a "thing" about them

Mindfulness and Life coaching diploma.

Is anybody else currently studying this course?  I have just started, awaiting feedback from first assignment and I would like to connect with anybody interested in discussing the lessons and their broader experience.  It would be nice to have subject related discussion forums like we had on my flexible learning PGCE to help feel more part of a community.  Any interest?

Am not a huge fan of Ekhart Tolle. As for mindfulness I think there are huge health benefits available to those who practice. Assignment 2 seems to be where the real work begins.
