I've just started the CBT course and wondered if anyone can recommend any more books to read? I've seen the Reading included with the course but some books are quite expensive to buy.

Hi AbiC,
I rely on the internet as well as the recommended reading for information for my studies. Of course not all the information on the internet is good or even true but once you are studying a specific topic and read quite a few results on the same search its fairly easy to weed out the sites that are giving quality information.
Buying all the books can certainly get quite costly! I am going to need a new bookshelf soon :-)

I find the topics interesting and difficult to understand, but that's probably me as I am very new to CBT or any psychological studying. Anything you are unsure of, I find it good to go a Google search to understand the phrases or words used. There are lots of great sites out there, a few I found are:
http://www.basic-counseling-skills.com/
http://www.simplypsychology.org/
http://www.getselfhelp.co.uk/

Good luck! I'm on Assignment 6 now, and its going ok.
