Hi I will be taking my exam shortly in aromatherapy. I am a little unclear about the procedure used for massage in pregnancy. Can any one help?
Been interested to know anyone who has completed this and if they used this as a stepping stone towards being an holistic therapist.
Thanks

HI
Avoid massage in early stages of pregnancy wait until after 16 weeks and avoid soles of feet, palms of hands and ears
hope this helps

Thanks Lorraine, yes it certainly does help. Only massage technique was covered but not on pregnancy. I know about avoiding certain oils e.c.t
I am researching a little also as I want to know if there is a particular side you start off with? Would like to learn more about aromatherapy and as soon as I have saved up will probably pursue this in more depth.
