Hi, I am thinking to do this course.  How do you provide the proof of your work placement for this course?

That sounds good. I have a degree and MA but in English field of study, not child care. I have experience in different settings though. What age range do you work with?

Anyone studying this course? How is the practical side of the course organized? The work placement? How do we deliver evidence of doing the practical side of it?

I am now on unit 5 of the part B. Hard keeping a balance with theory and practice but it's going OK. Ensure you have enough evidence when submitting part B assignments Katy, just use the forms in the notes to write on and get your supervisor to sign them to verify.

Agnes Cz. Look in the course notes for Part B, that is the practical side. If you chose email version it will be attached to the email. Most of the evidence submitted is just reports, witness statements and discussions signed by supervisor.

Hi Rebecca, I think its health and safety which is getting to me at the moment, its just so hard going I enjoy the rest like developments ect. I haven't started the B parts yet as the schools closed so my supervisor cant assess me.

Unlike the cache course I did with a word count this one doesn't provide it so I never know how much to write

I must admit, I didn't like th H&S section so I know what you mean. It's hard not to get bogged down by the regulations and all the H&S stuff. I know. I always hated word limits but then now I never know when to stop writing!

Yes, unlike my TA course with a word count this one is difficult as I haven't a clue how much to write and I'm scared of not writing enough or waffling on a little too much either!

For the B part of my course I am unsure of how I am suppose to submit it because I'm doing it as one of those 24+ learning which means I have a time limit for each assignment but it doesn't mention the practical side, I emailed stonebridge last weekend but didn't get a reply.

Hi.

Not heard of the learning 24 option. How long do you get for each assignment. If you need answers, I would email your tutor (listed in the part b) as that way I have received answers much quicker than stonebridge directly.

I have just finished part B. Just make sure you have the evidence for each assignment and submit by email. I just have part A to finish now.

Yeah it's called a learning loan with the next unit which muti agencies ect needs to be completed between 5th September and the 25th I think, it can be a bit stressful as I work, I also do two afternoons voluntary at a preschool and am a mother to a four year old boy!

Ive also found a facebook page with people who are doing the course so that can be helpful too!
