Hi everyone, is anyone doing animal psychology on here? I believe it's a new course and I am really enjoying it. Stonebridge have really made it so easy to submit assignments and all mine are marked the next day..this is incredible! I have studied elsewhere including one year with my local university but the tutors were really stuffy and made it really difficult to submit assignments, access information etc.. often changing the way we submit just as you are about to send it and taking months to get your mark!. I can't understand why it has to be so complicated and believe universities (especially those accepting long distance learners) should simplify their process in all ways. I endlessly researched long distance providers and found Stonebridge came out on top. I am really happy to be doing this course as I want to work wtih animals in many ways and am so excited about my future!

Hi emma, i really want to work in the animal industry too. :) i havent done animal psychology, i am wanting to do it but just havent saved up enough yet lol. I have done animal care and veterinary nursing support assistant with stonebridge colleges and loved every minute of the courses, its great to be excited, same with me but its soo hard to get into the animal industry as there are just no jobs available. I wish there was more jobs, as more and more people apply for the same job like thousands and its soo hard to get a place! but i wish you all the best with your future. I hope we both get a animal job :) take care :)

Hiya

I'm studying this at the moment and am having to get my brain back into 'learn' mode!! I've not studied since 2001 and am finding it hard to get my thoughts and answers onto paper in the right context. No doubt it will come as time goes on.

I'm enjoying the course so far but am only on my first assignment, lets hope I make it my second!! lol

Hi Anne, I have just completed assignment 8. Loved it so far. I have found it so enlightening in to animal behaviour In fact it has made me question how easy it is to just get a pet in the UK without prior knowledge of how to care properly for them. It saddens me when I hear of all those in rescue centres. What are you hoping to achieve with this course? :)

Hi, thanks for the reply :-) I help out at a dog rescue when I can and have always had an interest in all animals. I'm hoping to get more of an insight into what makes animals tick, if you see what I mean. I'm also wanting to start boarding small animals, holiday home from home and think this course will help benefit that. Are you doing the course for any particular reason or just for the love of it?
