Hi Emily and Vicky

I to am on the FHP (fast track course). in regards to the Practical, I've spoken to Maria and has reassured me they find the hotel nearest to the college. I was a bit sceptical as to where it is and staying over for this practical.

I was talking to my FHP and it turns out that she to trained with Stonebridge and the facilities is excellent. which course are you both on?

I'm on my 2nd assignment and the material is excellent as ive had the assignments booklets sent. Personally studying and reading the material online was difficult, so using my PC for the test helps me to retain the material better.

hope to hear from you both

Hey Veronica,

I am doing the fast track FHP course and I am into the 3rd lesson.  Im booked to do practical in Sept at Bude, im trying not to panic on how im getting to & from there, the free accom seemed like a good deal ( im Scottish & anything free sounds good! lol). Good luck with course & its great to hear from someone going down the same path, hopefully we can help each other along/through it.! :)

Lol...I don’t blame you. If it’s free then count me in...lol
That would be lovely Vicky . It’s good to know someone is doing the same course and how are you finding it so far and how long is the course in Bude?

Hello ladies I too have just started the fast track course and my practical is on the 17th - 21st Sept in Birmingham.  I would be really keen to keep in touch with anyone doing this course and especially with anyone who will be attending the practical on the same dates as me as I will have to stay in Birmingham for the week, I live in oxfordshire between Swindon and Oxford.

Hi Vicky thanks for your reply.  How far have you got with the online part?  I have just completed my first lesson (11 more to go).  Have you decided what your going to do after you have finished the course?  Are you going to set yourself up as self employed and work like that, do you think there is much of a call out there for this?

Hi ladies sorry for late reply iv been moving house and my little one has been poorly in hospital. 11 weeks ago I was all set thinking I have enough time to complete enough course work before my practical on the 9th July my aim is to get up to unit 8 for then I have booked the Norfolk hotel as it came in the cheapest at only 145 for each week and is under ten minutes walk away. I am getting really nervous for the practical now but mostly excited. My plan is to provide a mobile service in my local area advertising by a door to door flyer this I may do through royal mail or similar as they give you a target audience for your specific business to allow you to reach specific people in elderly ect there are only a few fhps in my area so I'm hoping there is enough work for all of us. How is every one getting on with there course work?
