£10 for proof of studying

has anyone else on here had to get a letter of proof of studying and had to pay £10 for it ??

i E-mailed stone bridge college and they replied by saying " Hi,

The cost for this will be £10, please call the college, make the payment and they will prepare this letter for you." does it really cost £10 to send a letter

I assume it is a full and detailed transcript which you will find most Universities, Colleges etc will charge you exactly the same for.

Very welcome! I can understand the shock if you've not come across it before - I was exactly the same when my University asked for £12.50 it! haha
